my philosophy

As a dedicated graphic designer and illustrator on the path to earning a BFA in graphic design at Chapman University, I am passionate about merging nostalgic vintage art styles with a contemporary edge. My journey through the world of art and design has been a rich tapestry of diverse experiences, each contributing to my unique creative vision. 

From immersive classes at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena where I delved into illustration, animation, figure drawing, and fashion illustration, to enriching lectures at the Creative Talent Network, Bancroft Brother’s Studios, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and the Walt Disney Family Museum, I’ve cultivated a versatile skill set. I thrive on learning new art forms, constantly pushing boundaries, and breaking molds by amalgamating various artistic disciplines. 

My approach to design is influenced by a fervent love for nostalgia, where I seek to blend vintage art styles with modern aesthetics. This fusion allows me to create designs that resonate across eras, evoking a sense of familiarity while introducing innovative twists. I am passionate about extending creativity beyond the confines of traditional art spaces. I’ve sought to immerse myself in diverse environments even finding creative outlets while working at a bakery. There, I utilized my artistic skills to draw and design intricate patterns for wedding cakes and other special events, transforming baked goods into edible works of art. 

I stand committed to surrounding myself with creativity, irrespective of the setting. This fuels my ability to infuse artistic details into every facet of my life. I’m driven by the pursuit of creative problem-solving, utilizing my diverse skill set to breathe life into projects and craft compelling 
visual narratives.
